About Project

Accelerating CSR in the Black Sea Region Project aims to increase the awareness of NGOs, companies and academia towards CSR and SDGs and to develop their capacities.

In addition, within the scope of the project, a CSR platform will be created in the Black Sea, including all regional countries.

The project will revitalize the CSR Black Sea Platform and create a mechanism for exchanging information and know-how about CSR and SDGs.

A guidebook and best practice catalog will be prepared, an online situation analysis questionnaire will be applied and online seminars will be held on prioritized issues.

Since its establishment in 2002, Armenian Marketing Association (AMA) has carried out more than 500 research, consulting, capacity building and policy advocacy projects in the field of socio-economic development, democracy, political participation, as well as designed and delivered trainings, researches and consulting programs on different subjects. Nowadays, AMA is the one of the most reputable organizations delivering such surveys results of which are being cited both by national stakeholders and international development partners. Also, AMA’s track record that is relevant to proposed Action is in implementing during the last 10 years among which the “Tax Compliance Surveys” commissioned by WB/IFC Armenia country offices and currently we run the “BEEPS” survey for the WB, EBRD, and EIB. AMA cooperates with regional and international organizations and research agencies.

Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Turkey is an independent NGO formed in 2005 by the efforts of academics, businesses, and other civil society organizations. CSR Turkey aims to promote CSR notions within international standards in Turkey and to increase CSR awareness which already exists with foundations, associations, and guild culture in Turkey.

Center for CSR Development is a leading expert organization in Ukraine, which implements critical for business projects in Ukraine but also provides support for companies to develop CSR strategies and non-financial reports.

Member of the UN Global Compact Board (2010-2012), a national partner of CSR Europe (Brussels) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD, Geneva). The organization unites 37 companies in Ukraine as its members and cooperates with international experts from 20 countries.

During five years the Centre for CSR Development: implemented more than 27 projects; prepared and published around 130 publications; held more than 140 public events with the engagement of about 3,000 representatives of business, NGOs, and the media. Centre for CSR Development is: an initiator and organizer of the National CSR Case Contest in Ukraine; an organizer of CSR Marketplace, a fair of social and environmental projects of different organizations in Ukraine; an organizer of the first Contest for the best non-financial report in Ukraine; an author of the first textbook “Corporate social responsibility: models and management practices” approved by Ministry of Education in Ukraine; a partner of the publishing house EKONOMIKA in conducting First educational project in Eastern Europe for CSR managers –CSR Academy.
